Clean and chopped spring onion and keep aside, soak dal for 15-20 mins

Make green chilli paste with ginger, garlic salt and little cummin seeds

Chip onion and tomato

In a kadai add oil then crackle cummin seeds then add onion and cook till soft

Add tomatoes and green chilli paste, stir

Add dry ingredients

Now add dal and mix

Add water and cook till dal cooks

Little water is left then add spring onion and coriander let it cook

It ll release water so it ll cook in it's own water.

Once it cooks and obsorbs water off the gas.
