chop the onions

peel and mince the fresh ginger

in a large soup pot saute the onion and ginger in the oil until the onion is clear

peel, seed, and chop the apple
- 5
peel, seed, and cut into cubes the squash
- 6
add all ingredients to the soup and then bring to a boil
- 7
simmer until the squash and Apple's are tender
- 8
puree in a blender until smooth. salt and pepper to taste.
