Ingredients

  • 2 lbbeef
  • 2 tbspvegetable oil
  • 6 cloveminced garlic
  • 28 ozdiced tomato
  • 28 oztomato puree
  • 15 ozkidney beans
  • 15 ozchili bean
  • 2 1/2 tbspchili powder
  • 1 tbspground cumin
  • 1 tbspcayenne pepper
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1red bell pepper
  • 1green bell pepper
  • 1yellow bell pepper
  • 1yellow onion
  • 3jalapeños

Steps

  1. 1

    Dice bell peppers and jalapeños. Mince garlic.

  2. 2

    Brown meat and drain. Then add vegetable oil and sauté all bell peppers and jalapeños in with meat.

  3. 3

    Rinse beans.

  4. 4

    Add to slow cooker along with garlic, spices, and sautéed peppers and meat. Mix together.

  5. 5

    Cover and cook for 6-8 hours.
