Ingredients

  1. 4 lbchicken cut into bite size pieces
  2. 3 tbspolive oil
  3. 1/2 cupapple juice
  4. 4 tbspketchup
  5. 1 cupwater
  6. 2 clovegarlic minced
  7. 1 1/2 tspred pepper flakes
  8. 1/2 tspground ginger
  9. 2/3 cuplow sodium soy sauce
  10. 2/3 cuplight brown sugar

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil in pan cook chicken to a golden brown color

  2. 2

    Put cooked chicken in a bowl and set aside

  3. 3

    Mix all remaining ingredients together. Heat until sugar dissolves

  4. 4

    Add the cooked chicken, bring to a hard boil

  5. 5

    Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes

  6. 6

    Serve with rice
