Ingredients

1 hour 30 mins
5 servings
  1. 3/4 kgcubed deboned chicken thighs
  2. 1 mediumonion chopped
  3. 2 mediumpotatoes cubed
  4. 1 mediumcarrot cubed
  5. 1/2 headgarlic chopped
  6. 1/2 cupbacon chopped
  7. 1 cupmushroom sliced
  8. 1 cupheavy cream
  9. 1 cupchicken stock
  10. 1 pinchsalt and pepper to taste
  11. 3/4 cupquick melt or mozarella cheese
  12. 1store bought pastry

Steps

1 hour 30 mins
  1. 1

    saute garlic and onions

  2. 2

    add chopped bacon and cook until fragrant

  3. 3

    add chicken cubes and cook until brown

  4. 4

    add sliced mushroom

  5. 5

    add chopped potatoes and carrots

  6. 6

    cooked for 5 mins and add chicken stock

  7. 7

    simmer until cooked

  8. 8

    add cream and stir. simmer to low heat

  9. 9

    season with salt and pepper

  10. 10

    set aside and let cool

  11. 11

    arrange in baking dish and layer cheese on top and cover with pastry crust

  12. 12

    bake at 350°F for 15 mins or until golden brown
