  1. 2 lblean chuck, ground
  2. 1 lblean pork, ground
  3. 4garlic cloves, finely chopped
  4. 1 cupfinely chopped onions
  5. 8 ozhunt's tomato sauce
  6. 1 cupwater
  7. 1 canbeer
  8. 3 tbspchili powder
  9. 2 tbspinstant beef bouillon (or 6 cubes)
  10. 2 tbspcumin, ground
  11. 2 tsppaprika
  12. 2 tsporegano leaves
  13. 2 tspsugar
  14. 1/2 tspcoriander, ground
  15. 1 tspunsweetened cocoa
  16. 1 tspcornmeal
  17. 1/2 tspLouisiana hot sauce
  18. 1 tspflour
  19. 1 tspwarm water

    In a large saucepan brown the beef and pork, drain the fat.

  2. 2

    Remove meat (beef and pork). Brown the rest of the meat, drain all but 2 tablespoons of the fat.

  3. 3

    Add the garlic and onion the meat, cook and stir until tender.

  4. 4

    Add the other half of the meat and the tomato sauce, water, beer, chili powder, bouillon, cumin, paprika, oregano, sugar, coriander, cocoa, and hot sauce. Mix well.

  5. 5

    Bring to a boil then reduce the heat and simmer, covered, for 2 hours.

  6. 6

    In a small bowl, stir together the cornmeal and flour, then add warm water and mix well.

  7. 7

    Stir into chili and cook, covered, for an additional 20 minutes.
