1 1/2 cupFlour
1 1/2 tspBaking powder
1 tspKosher salt
1/4 tspBlack pepper
2 cupButtermilk
4 sliceBacon, cooked and chopped
1 largeOnion, sliced

Whisk flour with baking powder, salt and pepper. Stir in buttermilk and bacon. Dredge onion rings in flour, dip in batter, then deep fry in vegetable oil at 375°F for 3 minutes.
