Easy Peasy Blueberry Cobbler with Brown Butter
Found this recipe a couple years back and accidentally got my butter a lil to dark and said heck with it, I hate wasting food! Well I added it in and prayed for the best, and lets just say its one of the BEST cobblers I've had in my life!!!
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9x13 inch, you can also use a 11x7 pan if you want your cobbler thicker.
- 2
Place blueberries in a medium size bowl and mix in sugar. Stir well and sit aside.
- 3
Place butter in a small saucepan on med high heat, melt butter but continue to watch it and stir constantly til it turns a light brownish color, it will get a slight nutty smell. Remove from heat.
- 4
Using a whisk or mixer, whisk together cake mix and brown butter til you get a crumbly mixture.
- 5
Pour blueberry mixture into bottom of pan and sprinkle cake mix crumbles over the top. Bake for 40 min or until a nice golden brown color on top. Serve with vanilla icecream if you so wish! :)

You could use any berries you like in this recipe, you can also use any cake mix. I have done strawberry mix with strawberries, I have also done blueberries with pineapple flavored cake mix which was awesome! Be creative about it!!
