Ingredients

15 mins
8 servings
  1. 1 boxyellow cake mix (or any flavor you like)
  2. 1 stickbutter
  3. 3 cupblueberries (frozen or fresh)
  4. 1/2 cupsugar

Cooking Instructions

15 mins
  1. 1

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9x13 inch, you can also use a 11x7 pan if you want your cobbler thicker.

  2. 2

Place blueberries in a medium size bowl and mix in sugar. Stir well and sit aside.

  3. 3

Place butter in a small saucepan on med high heat, melt butter but continue to watch it and stir constantly til it turns a light brownish color, it will get a slight nutty smell. Remove from heat.

  4. 4

Using a whisk or mixer, whisk together cake mix and brown butter til you get a crumbly mixture.

  5. 5

Pour blueberry mixture into bottom of pan and sprinkle cake mix crumbles over the top. Bake for 40 min or until a nice golden brown color on top. Serve with vanilla icecream if you so wish! :)

  6. 6

You could use any berries you like in this recipe, you can also use any cake mix. I have done strawberry mix with strawberries, I have also done blueberries with pineapple flavored cake mix which was awesome! Be creative about it!!

Made this recipe with a couple of slight modifications. I used lemon cake instead of yellow, and added brown sugar to the top of crumble. It turned out very tasty. Took it to work the next morning and the guys ate it up!
