Salmon Fish Tacos

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Dice the salmon into 1-inch cubes.
- 2
Toss and coat fish pieces in cumin powder. Add ½ tsp of chili powder for extra spice.
- 3
Heat oil on medium-high heat in a frying pan. Add diced onions and cook for 2 minutes until soft.
- 4
Add fish and sauté thoroughly, careful not to break the fish pieces while stirring.
- 5
In a separate bowl for the white sauce, mix the plain yogurt and mayo.
- 6
Stir in lime juice until the consistency of the mixture is runny enough to your liking.
- 7
Add capers, oregano, cumin powder, and chili powder. Mix well and set aside.
- 8
Heat tortillas on the stove or in the microwave until warm, but not too hot. Fill with fish filling and top with white sauce and any other optional toppings.
- 9
Enjoy!

There's a million ways to make fish tacos, and this is my version. Because I'm a proud West Coast Canadian, I used salmon instead of the usual whitefish, and put a hint of maple syrup in the sauce. The best thing about this recipe is that everything can be made ahead of time, and assembled at the table. Robert Gonzal -

This is a reproduction of the delicious fish tacos that I ate in San Diego. Some of the ingredients may be hard to find in Japan, but you can try going to import shops like Kaldi, Kinokuniya, or Seijo-Ishii, where you can easily find them.Replace the cilantro with other herbs if you like. In the picture I also made a mango salsa. 1-mango, half a red onion, cilantro, and squeezed 2-limes. Diced it up and mixed it all together. Great on the tacos or with chips! RONDEEZEE
