Nigerian style jollof rice

Cooking Instructions

Heat up the vegetable oil for a few minutes, add the tomato paste and sliced onions and fry together.

Pour the blended pepper into the mix and let it cook. Add salt, maggi and seasoning to taste

Once the pepper is cooked, add the rice and put enough water to cook the rice. If the water isn't enough, add a bit more but only sparingly.

Lower the heat until the rice is fully cooked. Add sliced onion and tomato to garnish.
