Ingredients

  • 6 can6 oz minced clams
  • 3 cupchopped onion
  • 3 cupdiced celery
  • 3 quarthalf and half
  • 2 1/4 cupbutter
  • 2 1/4 cupflour
  • 1salt and pepper to taste
  • 1ceyenne to taste

Steps

  1. 1

    drain clam juice onto uncooked veggies

  2. 2

    add enough water to cover and simmer until veggies are tender

  3. 3

    melt butter then add flour and blend

  4. 4

    cook separately for 1minute then add cream to butter mixture slowly

  5. 5

    add to veggies then add clams

  6. 6

    season to taste
