Prepare rice according to packaging.

Cook and shred chicken.

Heat oven to 350°F. In 12 inch skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions mix and carrots; cook 10 minutes, or until tender.

Stir in soup, sour cream, broth and thyme. Stir in cooked rice and chicken.

Transfer mixture to an ungreased 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake, uncovered, about 35 minutes or until heated through. Makes 4 servings.
