Ingredients

  1. 12 slicewheat bread cubed
  2. 1 lbbulk pork sausage
  3. 1/2 cupeach of diced pepper and onion
  4. 1 1/2 cupshredded sharp cheddar cheese
  5. 7eggs beaten
  6. 1 cupmilk
  7. 1 cuphalf and half
  8. 1 tspWorcestershire sauce
  9. 1/2 tspeach of salt and pepper

    In a skillet cook sausage, peppers and onion together.....drain of all fat and let cool.

  2. 2

    In a greased 13 x 9 in pan place bread cubes.

  3. 3

    Place cooled sausage mixture on top then sprinkle cheese evenly.

  4. 4

    Add milk and half and half to beaten eggs with Worcestershire, salt and pepper. Mix well.. pour over other ingredients and press down well making sure all bread gets wet.

  5. 5

    Refrigerate overnight or at least 4 hrs. Remove from refrigerator 30 min before baking.

  6. 6

    Bake uncovered at 350 for 35-45 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
