I love biryani and that prompted me to prepare this unique form of biryani.
Steps

To the pressure cooker add 2 tablespoon of oil and half tablespoon of ghee

Add two sticks of cinnamon, 4 cloves, 1 elachi, 1 star (anise), 1 big bay leaf, kalpasi

Add chopped tomatoes, green chillies, mint and coriander leaves

Makfe a paste of the grinding ingredients

Sauté for 2 minutes. Add a pinch of turmeric powder, salt and then add the masala paste

Cook for 3 minutes

Cut brinjal into length wise pieces and add to the mixture
- 8
Cook everything in a low flame and the brinjal gets softer and oil oozes out.

Soak the jeera rice for 10 minutes and add 1.2 cups water.

Add two cups of water to the pressure cooker and when it comes to boil add the rice, lemon juice and give it one whistle and simmer it for 10 minutes

Serve hot with raita
