Firat bake the Karunai kizhangu and peel the skin.

In a cooking pan add cooking oil, azefoetida powder, mustard, urad dal, green chillies and curry leaves.

Add water and allow to boil by adding salt.

Add the smashed baked vegetable, baked chenna to it and add tamarind paste to it and allow to boil for 15 minutes.

Finally the gravy is ready to taste.
