Ingredients

20 minutes
5 servings
  • 200 gmssmall Karunai kizhangu
  • 50 gramsbaked chenna
  • 4green chillies grated
  • 2ts tamarind paste
  • 50 gmsginger pieces
  • 1 bunchcurry leaves
  • 2ts of cooking oil, mustard, urad dal

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Firat bake the Karunai kizhangu and peel the skin.

    In a cooking pan add cooking oil, azefoetida powder, mustard, urad dal, green chillies and curry leaves.

  3. 3

    Add water and allow to boil by adding salt.

  4. 4

    Add the smashed baked vegetable, baked chenna to it and add tamarind paste to it and allow to boil for 15 minutes.

  5. 5

    Finally the gravy is ready to taste.
