Bevans' Crock Pot Chili

Based on "Debbie's Crock Pot Chili".
This is very similar to the recipe my mom makes, and it's pretty much as simple as possible, which means I'll actually make it occasionally when I get tired of frozen pizza and ramen noodles.
Feel free to add or replace items in this recipe. Celery would probably be good, and I've tried a couple different types of kidney beans. I also included a whole onion instead of a half (because I didn't want to deal with storing half an onion) and it was just fine.
It's also not spicy at all, so in the future I intend to add more spices.
Basically, it's really hard to mess this up.

Steps
- 1
Mix together all of the dry ingredients (the first six on the list). Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. YOU WILL NOT BE USING ALL OF IT. Save the rest, because you should be able to get about 4 batches of chili out of it.
- 2
In a skillet, cook ground beef until no longer pink.
- 3
Drain.
- 4
Add onion.
- 5
Add 5 tsp Seasoning Mix.
- 6
In Crock-Pot, add tomatoes, tomato sauce, and one can of beans.
- 7
You might want to put the other can of beans in a blender and process until smooth. Depends on the consistency you're going for. I usually don't bother. Either way, put the second can in the Crock Pot.
- 8
Add beans and meat to the Crock-Pot.
- 9
Stir together.
- 10
Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
