Ingredients

  • 1Stock fish head (medium size)
  • 1/2 kgcooked cow leg
  • 1/2 kgCow (assorted meat)
  • 1/4 kgchicken
  • 3knorr cubes
  • to tasteSalt
  • 5fresh pepper
  • 2 cupsdiced Kpomo
  • 8snails
  • 1cksp crayfish
  • 1 tbspAchi
  • 1 cuppalm oil
  • 1/2 cupsliced Uziza leaf
  • 4 cupssliced ugu leaf
  • 1/2 cupslice Okazi leaf

    Wash assorted meat, stock fish, snail, chicken and set aside; wash and blend pepper set aside, blend achi and crayfish in a miller and set it aside

  2. 2

    Pick ugu, uziza and okazi leaf, wash separately, slice and set aside

  3. 3

    Heat up assorted meat and stock fish, spice with knorr cube, salt and pepper and allow it cook; once its getting tender add cow leg, kpomo, snail and chicken and cover the pot

  4. 4

    Once all the proteins are tender, add blended achi and crayfish, then stir in palm oil cook for another 5minutes

  5. 5

    Taste to adjust salt or seasoning or add water if the soup is very thick cos of your achi; then add uziza leaf first, after 2 minutes, add ugu leaf, after a minute add okazi leaf stir and immediately remove from heat

  6. 6

    Serve with akpu aka fufu, eba or poundo but the main meal for ofe owere is akpu
