Love it, great when sliced up and buttered! Big hit with all the family

Preheat oven to 180°C

Grease and line a 450g loaf tin

Mash bananas in a bowl with honey
- 4
In a second bowl, sift flour, baking powder and nutmeg
- 5
Cream the butter and sugar until pale and fluffy, gradually add the eggs (beating well after each addition)

Fold in both the bananas and flour mixtures and pecan nuts if desired
- 7
Spoon mixture into tin and cook for 50-60 mins
- 8
Once cooked leave to cool for 10 mins

serve and enjoy :)
