Bolognese with Chicken and Chick Peas

I got inspiration from Giada's recipe, but made it my own with the chick peas! It's very filling and a nice break from a traditional pasta dish!
Bolognese with Chicken and Chick Peas
I got inspiration from Giada's recipe, but made it my own with the chick peas! It's very filling and a nice break from a traditional pasta dish!
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Heat oil and add onions and garlic and brown slightly on medium low heat.
- 2
Chop carrots into cubes and add in the oil. Keep on medium low heat for 6 minutes.
- 3
Add the can of chickpeas and mix frequently for five minutes.
- 4
Add the ground chicken and divide into little pieces. Move it in the pan frequently until it begins to cook. Add spices as you like.
- 5
Pour in crushed tomatoes and rotate frequently. Add a quarter cup of water to the pan. While all the ingredients are blending, cover with a lid and begin to cook pasta.
- 6
While the chicken will be cooked, make sure the carrots are as crunchy or soft as you like. This should take an additional 20 minutes, and the mixture should thicken.
- 7
Scoop over pasta (and add some parmesean cheese) and enjoy!!

Bolognese Pasta Bolognese Pasta
Italian cuisine normally is very heavy on onions and garlic, but ever since our likely brush with the coronavirus, onions and garlic have been tasting really horrible to Mrs Wyrm. And so here I am, making a Bolognese sauce without them. It's a bit bland without the onions and garlic and needs more salt than one might normally use. 🇮🇹 蛟龍Stormwyrm -
Chicken Bolognese Recipe Chicken Bolognese Recipe
There is one cooking show that I enjoy watching, and no it’s not any of the well known chefs/cooks…:) I have always preferred to watch cooking shows that are more traditional with simple recipes to follow. This show is based on International cuisine, and the chef has cooked all over the world, and the recipes are simple and yet so delicious. The other day I was watching a rerun of his show (vacation time), and he had this fantastic summer dish which I have made before but I had completely forgotten. My brother was coming over, we haven’t seen him in a few days, along with his dog Marka. 🙂 I decided to make this dish for dinner, and since we are all pasta lovers, Chicken Bolognese would be a great topping. The recipe has a few tweaks than the Bolognese we all know and love, instead of ground beef, I have added grated Chicken it makes this dish lighter and tastes so good. We enjoyed our meal, chatted, laughed, and had a really nice time. Charlie and Marka had a great time, playing, running into the garden and eating of course. 🙂 Foodzesty -

Bolognese Sauce Bolognese Sauce
The sauce Alla Bolognese comes from the Emilia Romagna region, capital of Bologna in northeastern Italy. The original basis of the recipe is meat, vegetables and tomatoes. Another detail in the preparation of this sauce is the cooking on a very low heat, for a long time.It is a delicious exquisite sauce to accompany lasagna, fettuccine or tagliatelle pasta.
