Easy Simple Slow-Cooker Chili

Ingredients

6 to 8 hrs.
8 to 10 serving
  1. 1 lb.Ground beef, browned & drained
  2. 1 lb.Johnsonville ground sweet Italian sausage, browned & drain
  3. 2-cans, brooks Chili Mix (28 oz) ea
  4. 1-can, bushes Chili Starter Mix
  5. 1-can, petite diced tomatoes(14.5 oz) mashed
  6. 1-can, dark red kidney beans (14.5 oz) drained
  7. 1-can, black beans (14.5 oz) drained
  8. 2onions, diced & sauteed
  9. 1/4 slicegreen pepper, diced & sauteed
  10. 1 tbsp.Garlic powder
  11. 1 tsp.Dry Marjoram
  12. 1 tsp.Dry cumin
  13. 1/2 tsp.Ground black pepper
  14. Olive oil
  15. Pinchsalt

Cooking Instructions

6 to 8 hrs.

    Preheat the slow-cooker

  2. 2

    Brown meats & drain off fat; add to slow-cooker.

  3. 3

    Add all can ingredients to slow-cooker.

  4. 4

    Saute' onions & green peppers in olive oil for 3 minutes; add to slow-cooker.

  5. 5

    Set slow-cooker for 6 hours and let it cook; when done; ready to serve.

  6. 6

    Note: "If you would like thicker chili; just mash or add to a blender 1 to 2 cups of beans; then add to the chili."
