Fried Kibbeh (Without a Grinder)

Soak the bulgur in 1 cup of hot water and let it sit until it doubles in size.

Squeeze the bulgur to remove any excess water.

Add ground beef, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon mixed spices, a pinch of black pepper, and 2 tablespoons cornstarch to the bulgur. Knead the mixture by hand.

Dice the onion into small cubes. In a skillet, heat a little oil, then add the onion, ground beef, mixed spices, salt, and black pepper. Cook until done, then add fried almonds.

Shape the kibbeh dough into balls, fill them with the meat mixture, form them, and then fry until golden brown. Enjoy!
