From the freezer to table strip steak

Read this in cooks illustrated and was skeptical so me and my wife gave this a try and you know what it wasn't bad at all couldn't really tell the difference from a thawed steak. Blew us away!! Now a fresh steak obviously going to be great but if you have some frozen give it a try I think you'll be as plentiful surprised as we were. For this recipe I just wanted to see for myself so limited the ingredients to a bare minimal and still was good crazy!!!
