Ingredients

30 min
  1. 1 ccoca-cola (not diet)
  2. 1/2 cupcooking oil
  3. 1 stick (1/2 cup)butter
  4. 3 TbspCocoa Powder
  5. 2 cupsSugar
  6. 2 CupsPlain Flour
  7. 2eggs
  8. 1/2 cupbuttermilk
  9. 1/2 tspbaking soda
  10. 1 tspVanilla extract
  11. ~Frosting Ingredients~
  12. 1 stick (1/2 cup)butter
  13. 2 1/3 TbspCocoa
  14. 6 TbspMilk
  15. 1 tspVanilla Extract
  16. 3 3/4 cupConfectioner's Sugar

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    In a saucepan mix cola, oil, butter and cocoa and bring to boil. In bowl combine sugar, flour and salt. Pour the Cola mixture over the flour mixture and beat well.

    Add eggs, buttermilk, baking soda and vanilla and beat well. Pour mixture into a greased and floured 13x9 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes

    Frosting:
    In a saucepan, combine butter, cocoa, and milk. Heat until butter melts. Beat in remaining ingredients and spread on cake while still warm
