Instant khaman Dhokla

Sharing today a delicious, tempting and instant dhokla recipe. This instant dhokla recipe is very easy and quick to make. It can be get ready in 20 mins without any fermentation.
Dhokla is a savoury steamed cake, made from gram flour and flavoured by, Ginger chilli paste, lime juice and bit of sugar for that sweet and tangy tongue tickling flavour. I made this dhokla instantly by using Eno and take half and half portion of besan and suji.
These Dhokla bites are really light and fluffy.. it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to categorise it as one of the healthiest and tasty snacks of India( Gujarat)..

Steps

Combine besan, oil, suji, salt, sugar, yogurt, turmeric powder, warm water (approx 3/4 cup)and mix well without lumps..

Add grngr and green chilli paste,lemon juice and mix till smooth and fluffy.

Just before steaming add fruit salt and mix gently.

Pour the batter immediately to greased plat or mould and spread evenly.

Stem for 10 to 12 minutes or dhokla are cooked. Check with toothpick it should be clean. (Do not overcook)

Then heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, curry leaves and 1/2 cup water. Bring it to boil.

Pour this temper over cooked dhokla.

Cut into square and serve with green chutney.
