Ingredients

  • 500 gbutter
  • 3 cupssugar
  • 8Eggs
  • 3 TeaspoonsVanilla Essence
  • 10 CupsFlour
  • 10 TeaspoonsBaking Powder
  • 1.5 LitresMilk
  • 400 gMixed Fruit Jam
  • 3 TeaspoonsRed Food Colouring
  • 1.5 CupsWater
  • 1 KgCoconut

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix butter with sugar until the sugar dissolves. Add eggs and vanilla essence and mix until they dissolve

  2. 2

    Add flour, baking powder and milk and mix

  3. 3

    Turn your oven on 180 deg

  4. 4

    Pour your mixed dough a butter spread oven pan and bake for 30 - 45 minutes

  5. 5

    Allow to cool

  6. 6

    On a separate bowl mix jam, red colouring and water

  7. 7

    On another separate bowl pour coconut

  8. 8

    Cut cooled sponge cake into squares. Dip first into jam mix and then dip into coconut then lay them on a plate

  9. 9

    Enjoy
