Ingredients

30-40 minutes
4 servings
  1. 500 grampointed gourd (parwal/potol)
  2. 1/2coconut (desiccated)
  3. 150 grammawa/khoya
  4. 2 cupssugar
  5. 2 tablespoonrice flour
  6. 2 Podsgreen cardamom
  7. 1/2jaifal crushed into pieces
  8. 1javitri
  9. 5-6 strandskesar
  10. As neededwater
  11. As neededrose water

Steps

30-40 minutes
  1. 1

    At first peel and deseed the parwal. Soak into alum water for 6-7 hours

  2. 2

    Remove it from the water and wash with plain water

  3. 3

    Now prepare a sugar syrup with 1 cup sugar and 2 cup water

  4. 4

    Add jaifal,javitri and kesar allow it to boil

  5. 5

    Add the parwal and boil.Keep it on low flame till it becomes soft.

  6. 6

    In the meantime prepare a filling with mawa, Coconut,sugar and rice flour

  7. 7

    Add crushed cardamom and mix well

  8. 8

    Remove it from the oven and allow it to cool down

  9. 9

    Remove the parwal from the sugar syrup once it get properly soft

  10. 10

    Take spoonful of the filling and fill it inside of the parwal

  11. 11

    Sprinkle rose water and keep in the refrigerator

  12. 12

    Serve it cool
