Pork is my favorite for the crockpot and its traditional for New Years Day. The sauce is what makes this recipe. Have some good crusty bread to sop it up with. I served with a fresh garden salad.

Pork is my favorite for the crockpot and its traditional for New Years Day. The sauce is what makes this recipe. Have some good crusty bread to sop it up with. I served with a fresh garden salad.

Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 2-2 1/2 lbpork stew meat
  2. 6-8medium potatoes peeled and diced
  3. 2chicken bouillon cubes
  4. 1 packetwishbone Italian dressing mix
  5. 2 tspchopped garlic
  6. 1 tbspdried parsley
  7. 2 tbspolive oil
  8. 1 tbspcornstarch mixed with 1/2 c water

Cooking Instructions

    In a well sprayed crock pot add potatoes and bouillon cubes. Add 3 cups of water.

    Top with pork, Italian dressing mix, garlic and parsley. Drizzle olive oil over all.

    Set to low and cook for 7 hrs. Remove all ingredients except liquid on bottom to a large serving dish. Pour liquid in a saucepan and add cornstarch mixture. Bring to a low boil then pour over pork and potatoes in serving bowl. Salt and pepper to taste.
