Ingredients

  1. 250 gmushrooms (shiitake/button)
  2. 1/2medium sized onion
  3. 2-3 clovesgarlic
  4. 1 1/2-2 tablespoonsbutter
  5. 200-300 mlsingle cream
  6. 150 mlmilk
  7. Vegetable stock (optional to adjust consistency)
  8. to tasteSalt
  9. to tastePepper

  1. 1

    Cut the mushrooms into thin slices.

  2. 2

    Mince the onions and garlic.

  3. 3

    Heat a pan with the butter.

  4. 4

    Once the butter has melted, add in the mushrooms and fry for about 10 minutes on medium heat.

  5. 5

    Once the mushrooms reduce in size and feel soft, add in the cream and milk.

  6. 6

    If the consistency is too thick, add in more milk or vegetable broth to adjust.

  7. 7

    Let it cook for a few minutes. Add in salt and pepper to taste.

  8. 8

    Herbs like parsley may be added.
