Ingredients

  • 250 gmsKundru
  • 2 tbspMustard oil
  • 1/2 tspMustard seeds or rai
  • 1/4 tspRed chilli powder
  • 1 tspCoriander powder
  • 1 tspSabzi masala
  • 2Finely chopped Onion
  • 1Finey chopped Tomato
  • 2Finely chopped garlic
  • 2 tbspFinely chopped ginger
  • 1Finely chopped green chilli
  • 1/4 cupFinely chopped coriander leaves
  • to tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Chopped kundru in a round shape.
    Heat mustard oil in a pan over medium heat. Add mustard seeds. and allow them to papaya.
    Now add onions and fry till translucent. Now add the ginger, garlic and fry till the raw flavor is gone.
    Now add kundru, turmeric, coriander powder, sabzi masala, red chilli powder, salt and mix well. Cook on medium-low flame for 10 minutes till kundru are done (covered). Check and stir occasionally.
    After 10 minutes add chopped tomato (deseed) and mix well.

    Cook uncovered for 5 minutes on medium-high flame stir occasionally.
    Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with parathas.
