Ingredients

3 servings
  1. 1 glassboiled rice
  2. 1/2 kgmutton
  3. 1big onion thinely sliced
  4. 1small onion finely chopped
  5. 2 tspginger garlic paste
  6. 3-4small bay leaf
  7. 1Clove
  8. 8-10black pepper corns
  9. 1 1/2biryani masala
  10. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  11. 1/2 tspDry coriander powder
  12. 3green chillies chopped
  13. 1juice of lemon
  14. Pinchorange colour
  15. to tasteSalt
  16. 1/4 tsp red chilli powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Boil mutton in cooker with 1whistle on high and 20 mins on sim with ginger garlic paste,small chopped onion,salt and red chilli powder.

    In a heavy bottom Kadai,put all whole spices.

  3. 3

    Next share thinely sliced onion till golden brown.

  4. 4

    Put the already cooked mutton along with the stock.

  5. 5

    Add biryani masala,Sukha dhaniya,garam masala,grn chillies and salt to taste.saute for 1 min.

  6. 6

    Mix lemon juice and colour in a bowl and put with cooked rice in kadai.

  7. 7

    Toss gently.You will see the colour difference of your biryani half orange and half shaded.

  8. 8

    Serve hot with spicy chutney and onions.
