Ingredients

8 servings

1 canPillsbury crescent rolls
2 cupsapplesauce (homemade is best)
2 tspcinnamon
2 tspsugar

Cooking Instructions

Open crescent rolls and lay flat in a rectangular shape. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar

Spread applesauce on top

Roll up and cut into 8 rolls

Place in buttered cast iron pan and bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 min

Top with cream cheese icing. (Mix equal parts butter, cream cheese and icing sugar)

Combined two recipes today. Stephie’s for the rolls, and Anita’s for the icing. Just one substitute for the rolls - brown sugar instead of white. And since I used an 8” pan, I had to bake a little longer - 16 to 18 mins. For the icing, 2 tablespoons each of cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar. The family LOVED them. Thank you both for your easy and delicious recipes! 😋 I’m going to link the respective other recipes in the comments in case anyone else would like to do the same. 😊
