Ingredients

  • 1 CupRice
  • 1/2 CupPigeon Peas Dal (Tuar dal)
  • 1/4 CupChickpeas Dal
  • 1/2 CupMoong Dal (Green Gram Dals)
  • 4 tbspUrad Dal
  • 4 tbspMasoor Dal
  • 4 tbspWhole Wheat
  • 1Finely Grated Carrot
  • 1Grated Potato
  • 4 tbspfinely Grated Bottle Gourd
  • 4 tbspCrushed Fresh Green peas
  • 1chopped onion
  • 4 tbspFresh Coriander
  • 4 tbspFenugreek Leaves Freshly Chopped
  • 4 tbspChopped Spinach
  • 1 tbspSesame Seeds
  • 1 tbspChilli Paste
  • 1 tbspGarlic Paste
  • 1 tbspGinger Paste
  • 1 tspMustard Seeds
  • 1/2 tspHing
  • 1 tspRed Chilli Powder
  • 1 tspTurmeric Powder
  • 1 tbspPickle Masala
  • 1 1/2 tbspOil
  • 4 tbspCurd
  • 1/2 tspCooking Soda

Steps

  1. 1

    Take all the Dals and soak them for 3-4 hours separately.

  2. 2

    Grind these Dals to be coarse.

  3. 3

    After Grinding all these Dals add 4 tbsp Curd and Salt per taste.

    Let it rest for 5-6 Hours.

  5. 5

    Now Grate all vegetables and add to the grains.

  6. 6

    Add Coriander,Fenugreek Leaves,Spinach,Turmeric powder,Red Chilli Powder,Pickle Masala,Salt per taste and Chilli,Garlic and Ginger Paste and mix everything and keep aside.

    Take Oil and heat it.Add Mustard Seeds,sesame Seeds,Hing and make A tadka.Add 1/2 tadka to the dal mixture and 1/2 tsp Cooking Soda and mix it.

  8. 8

    Pre heat an oven to 180°C.

  9. 9

    Take a baking tray or Mould and grease it.Pour the batter into this.

  10. 10

    Add The remaining tadka on top of the Batter.

  11. 11

    After 5 minutes reduce the temperature to 150°C.

  12. 12

    Cook for 15-20 minutes and now it's ready.
