Steps

Wash and marinate the fish with salt and turmeric powder

Keep aside for 10 minutes

Heat oil and fry the fish till golden brown

Remove fish and temper jeera seeds and bay leaf

Add onion paste saute well

Now add ginger garlic paste and saute well adding salt turmeric powder

As the raw smell disappears add tomato puree and red chilli powder and saute till the masala starts realising oil

Add the curd keeping the flame at the lowest and mix

Finally add sugar and allow it to simmer

Garnish with garam masala powder and dhaniya leaves

Serve it with plain rice and enjoy to your fill.
