To prepare the marinade, mix the ketchup and mayonnaise well in a deep bowl, then add the lemon juice and mix well to avoid lumps.

Add the crushed garlic, thyme, seven spice, black pepper, paprika, and salt to the ketchup mixture, and mix well. Gradually add the vegetable oil while stirring.

Add the chicken pieces to the bowl, mix well to coat with the marinade, then place the bowl in the refrigerator and leave for 3 hours.

Preheat the oven to medium heat, transfer the chicken with the marinade to a baking tray, and bake for 30 to 45 minutes or until the chicken is cooked and the sauce thickens.

Serve the Shish Tawook with garlic sauce and French fries.
