Ingredients

0 mins
6 servings
  1. 1 cuptea biscuits, crushed
  2. 1 tablespoonbutter melted
  3. 1 tablespoonwarm water
  4. 400 glow fat cream cheese
  5. 395 gcondensed sweetened milk, Nestle
  6. 1 teaspoonvanilla essence
  7. 2 tablespoonsgelatin, powder
  8. 4 tablespoonshot water
  9. 1 tablespoonlemon juice
  10. 1/2 cupjam

Cooking Instructions

0 mins
  1. 1

Add the melted butter and 1 tablespoon hot water to the crushed biscuits and rub with finger tips.

  2. 2

Press the mixture to a 20 cm pan. (If you have a bottom loose pan, it would be easier to remove the cake from the pan, if not, you can use a regular pan and cut cake into squares)

  3. 3

Beat the cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla with an electric mixer till smooth (Don't over beat the mixture). Add lemon juice and beat till combined.

  4. 4

Sprinkle gelatin over 4 tablespoons hot water and stir till dissolved, then add to the cream cheese mixture and stir with a spoon.

  5. 5

Add the cream cheese mixture to the previously prepared biscuit base. (You have to spread slowly and carefully so you don't mess the biscuit base).

  6. 6

Please the cheese cake in the fridge for 3 hours or till it becomes firm.

  7. 7

Spread you favorite fruit jam over the cheese cake and serve.

I advice you try baking the biscuit for about 10 minutes in the oven. I tried both ways, but when I bake the base, it gives a crunchier fresher texture that lasts as long as the cake lasts (which is not long). As for the cheese in this recipe, I use exactly the same, but I add heavy cream (nestle too) and just half of the nestle condensed milk.
