Ingredients

  • 500 gAll purpose flour
  • 150 gmargarine
  • 150 gsugar
  • 3Eggs
  • 1 tspBaking powder
  • Cardamom powder
  • Lemon zest
  • Milk
  • Deep frying oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Measure your ingredients I wasn't so accurate, for good doughnuts the margarine should be a good size.

  2. 2

    Mix your dry ingredients and add margarine then one by one egg the dough should be tough, easy to kneed. Divide the dough into big balls

  3. 3

    Then use a board and a spin to flatten each ball leaving it a bit fat and use a glass and a bottle top to cut a doughnut shape

  4. 4

    After cutting the doughnuts heat the oil and deep fry to cook
