Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsBroccoli florets–blanched
  2. 1/2 cupGrated paneer/cottage cheerse
  3. 1 Boiled Potato
  4. 2 tbspBread crumbs
  5. 2 podsGarlic finely chopped
  6. 1 Onion chopped finely
  7. 2Green chilies finely chopped
  8. 1 tspGaram masala
  9. 2 tspCoriander powder
  10. 2 tbspChat masala
  11. To tasteSalt
  12. As neededOil
  13. 1 bunchCoriander leaves- some finely chopped and some for garnish

Steps

    Peel and mash the boiled potato and keep it aside. Drain the blanched broccoli. Place the broccoli florets on a paper towel so that all the excess water is absorbed. Grind it in a food processor to form a coarse paste. Transfer the broccoli paste into a bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Take a small portion of the broccoli mixture and make it into small balls. Flatten the balls into the shape of cutlets/tikkies. Heat a few drops of oil in a pan.

    Shallow fry the tikkies until both the sides turn slightly golden brown in colour. Serve as a snack at tea time with green chutney or ketchup.
