Ingredients

  • 1 cupBoiled red kidney beans / rajma
  • 2 smallBoiled potatoes
  • 50 gmsCottage cheese / paneer
  • 1 mediumChopped onion
  • 2-3Chopped garlic clove
  • 2Chopped green chillies
  • 1 tspCoriander leaves
  • 1/2 tspRed chilli powder
  • 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1/2 tspGaram masala powder -
  • 2 tbspGhee / clarified butter
  • to tasteSalt

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Heat ghee / clarified butter in a pan.

    Add onion and saute for one mins.

    Add ginger paste,green chilli,turmeric powder,red chilli powder,garam masala powder,salt and coriander leaves and mix well.

    In a blender add red kidney beans /rajma,boiled potatoes and paneer/cottage cheese and blend it.

  5. 5

    Add this rajma mixture in the onion pan and saute for 4 - 5 mins.

  6. 6

    Once cooled,shape each ball to flat patties of medium thickness.

  7. 7

    Shallow fry in hot ghee / clarified butter until red and crispy.

  8. 8

    Flipping once in between.

  9. 9

    Always cook in medium flame

  10. 10

    Serve hot with tea.
