Fried Kibbeh

Steps

Use a food processor to make the kibbeh dough.

Soak the bulgur for 1 hour in a little water after rinsing it well.

Add the whole peeled onion, salt, pepper, spices, a pinch of ground cumin, and 2 tablespoons of red pepper paste to the bulgur.

Process the mixture in the food processor until very smooth.

For the filling, sauté finely chopped onion, ground beef, walnuts, salt, and pepper in a skillet with 1 tablespoon of clarified butter until cooked through.

Once the filling has cooled, shape the kibbeh dough by hand or with a mold and fill with the meat mixture.

Fry in plenty of hot oil, turning until golden brown.
