Sift the flour, then add the cornstarch, salt, and powdered sugar. Stir to combine, then make a well in the center and add the sesame seeds and cookie spice mix.

Heat the clarified butter or ghee very well, then pour it over the sesame seeds and spice mix. Stir with a wooden spoon until it cools down, then rub the mixture together with your hands until well combined.

Dissolve the yeast in the water with 1 tablespoon of sugar. Once it becomes frothy, pour it over the dough mixture and gently bring the dough together without kneading. Cover and let it rest for 1 hour.

Shape the dough into cookies, then bake immediately. The dough will rise while you finish shaping all the cookies.

Preheat the oven 10 minutes before baking. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes; they cook quickly because of the amount of butter and heat, so they brown and bake fast.

Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool completely.

Store in airtight containers. When serving, dust with powdered sugar. Enjoy!
