Sev BARFI is very easy, yummy and popular with many communities since pre- independence. Very filling after a long fasting day.
Steps

Boil milk. Add sugar and stir till it is completely dissolved.

Remove from gas and add saffron strands, yellow food colour and mix well. Add unsalted thick Sev

Mix it gently and cover it for 10 minutes.

Put 1tbsp ghee and bring it on to the gas and cook for 5 minutes. Add green cardamom power and half of the nuts and seeds.

Add mawa and mix gently till well blended.

Grease a square dish and pour out sev barfi in it. Flatten it and sprinkle remaining dry fruits.

Keep it in the fridge for 30 minutes. Serve cold or at room temperature

Can be stored in the fridge for 5 to 6 days.
