Ingredients

4 people
  • 1 1/2lbs. thin sliced braciole beef, sliced into strips about one inch wide
  • 3 TBS.cornstarch
  • 2 TBS.extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 clovesgarlic, minced
  • 1/2 cupsoy sauce
  • 1/2 cupwater
  • 1/2 cupbrown sugar
  • 1 TBS.ground ginger
  • 1 cupmatchstick carrots
  • 1green bell pepper, chopped (optional)
  • 4scallions, sliced on an angle, about a half inch wide

Steps

  1. 1

    After slicing the beef, place it in a gallon sized baggie along with cornstarch. Shake it up to coat all the beef with cornstarch.

  2. 2

    Put extra virgin olive oil, garlic, soy sauce, water, brown sugar, ginger, carrots and peppers into the crockpot and stir.

  3. 3

    Add the coated beef to the crockpot and mix well.

  4. 4

    Cook on low for 4-6 hours, stirring occasionally.

  5. 5

    Slice the scallions to use as a topping. Serve over white rice.
