Ingredients

  • For Lemon Bhel
  • 1 cuppuffed rice also called murmura
  • Handfulcurry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp hing
  • 1 teaspoonOil
  • 1 tbsmixture of chilli powder amchur
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • Onion one medium size
  • 1/2lemon
  • For Tea
  • 2 glasseswater
  • leavesSpring of mint
  • 2 tablespoonhoney
  • 1/2lemon
  • 1/2 tsp tea leaves

Steps

  1. 1

    For Bhel. First take oil in a deep kadai then add mustard seeds let it splutter. Then add turmeric hing and curry leaves let it become crisp. Switch off the stove.

  2. 2

    Now add the murmura the mixture of masala and mix well then switch on the stove and mix till it becomes crisp. Once it becomes crisp take a bowl add the murmura then chopped onions and lemon and serve immediately else it will become numb. If you are making for guests just before serving add onions and lemon.

  3. 3

    For tea. Boil the water with a spring of mint leaves then add the tea leaves and mix well and switch of the flame. Strain let it cool a bit then add the honey and lemon. Serve hot. Please do not add the lemon and honey when it is piping hot it will become bitter.
