Ingredients

8-10 hours
4 servings
  1. 500 gramsthick and fresh yoghurt
  2. 1 cuppowdered sugar
  3. 1 tspcardamom powder
  4. 1 tbspchopped pistachios
  5. 8-10saffron strands
  6. 2 tbspwarm milk
  7. 1 tspchopped pistachios for garnishing
  8. 1 tspchopped almonds for garnishing
  9. Few saffron strands for garnishing

Steps

8-10 hours
  1. 1

    Firstly, tie yoghurt in a clean muslin or cheese cloth.

  2. 2

    Hang the yoghurt over a kitchen wash basin for 6-8 hours.

  3. 3

    After 8 hours, untie cloth.

  4. 4

    You can see that yoghurt become thick and creamy.

  5. 5

    Dissolve the kesar strands in warm milk and keep it aside.

  6. 6

    Now in a big mixing bowl, add yoghurt, sugar and saffron milk.

  7. 7

    Mix it well till sugar gets dissolved completely in yoghurt.

  8. 8

    Now add cardamom powder and chopped pistachios, give it a mix and keep it in the refrigerator for atleast 1-2 hours.

  9. 9

    Garnish with pistachios, almonds and saffron strands.

  10. 10

    Serve chilled
