Wash urad dal and soak it in water for 2 hours.

Drain water and grind the dal till it becomes smooth. Add little water while grinding.

Add salt as per taste and mix it thoroughly with your hand. Batter should become fluffy and light.

Take small amount of this batter and put raisin/cashew inside it and then deep fry this wada.

Boil water in a big pan. Turn off the flame. Soak all fried wadas in hot water till they become soft.

Now squeeze out the excess water from the wadas by pressing with your hands. Arrange the wadas in a bowl.

Add little salt and 2-4 tbsp sugar to curd. Mix well and pour the curd mixture till it covers all the wadas. Refrigerate dahi wadas.

Sprinkle chilli powder,chaat masala, cumin powder, black pepper powder on the wadas. Garnish with pomegranate, boondi. Serve them with sweet tamarind chutney and pudina chutney.
