Ingredients

  • 1 & 1/2 tbsp ghee (pure clarified butter)
  • 1/2 cupCrushed vermicelli (Sevaiyan)
  • 1 tspcardmom powder
  • 2 cupsmilk
  • 1/4 cup or to tastesugar
  • 1 tbspcustard powder
  • 1/4 cupcondensed milk
  • 1 tbspkaju powder
  • Topping
  • 2 tbspghee
  • 1/2 cupcrushed vermicelli
  • 1/4 cupmixed dry fruits
  • 2 tbspsugar
  • 5 tbspmilk powder
  • 1 tbspkaju powder

Steps

  1. 1

    In wok add ghee let it melt.

  2. 2

    Add vermicelli, mix well & fry for 2-3 mins

  3. 3

    Add cardmom powder & mix well

  4. 4

    Add milk and bring to boil

  5. 5

    Add sugar and cook until milk thickens(approx 10 - 15 mins) & keep stirring in between,thn add condensed milk

  6. 6

    In custard powder add milk & mix well

  7. 7

    Now add dissolved custard powder and mix well

  8. 8

    Add kaju powder

  9. 9

    Boil for 5 mins

  10. 10

    Turn off the flame & set aside

    For topping : In frying pan add ghee & let it melt.

    Add vermicelli, fry on low flame

  13. 13

    Add dry fruits & fry for 2 mins

  14. 14

    Add sugar & mix well fry for 5mins

  15. 15

    Turn off the flame, add milk powder mix well & set aside

    In serving dish add topping, prepared vermicelli and again topping

    Garnish with almonds & serve!

    U can adjust sugar as per ur taste.
