Pork meatballs with mint and tzatziki Pork meatballs with mint and tzatziki
Today was Family Day, a provincial holiday to celebrate family togetherness. After a busy day out and about, my original plan was to come home and make a simple Filipino torta for dinner. Problem was, neither my wife nor my daughter are particularly big fans of torta, and it just seemed wrong to make a Family Day dinner that the entire family wouldn't enjoy. So I took the same ingredients, added a little mint and Greek yogurt from the fridge, and made Mediterranean inspired meatballs with tzatziki instead. It was much more enthusiastically received. And pretty darned tasty, too. Robert Gonzal -

This is my BIL André's favorite thing that I cook, so we have it at least twice a month. I pre-make meatballs by the hundreds, cool, then vacuum seal in 1-meal portions to keep in the freezer. There's an endless variety of meatball meals you can make, and this makes it quick and easy. Tried the ready-made frozen meatballs from the grocery once and didn't like their grainy texture or flavor. Homemade is the way to go! Maggie Conlon -

I made this on a day when pork was cheap.Men are really happy to eat pork, so I thought up a recipe I could use on such days.Don't reduce the sauce too much (Step 4), just until the meat has cooked through. It's even better if you top with more sauce after transferring to a plate. Delicious Deep Fried Pork Meatballs Delicious Deep Fried Pork Meatballs
I made fried meatballs using ground pork. I used less breadcrumbs than I use when making hamburgers. They're delicious so I uploaded the recipe.By adding a small amount of ketchup and katakuriko to the ground meat, the meatballs become soft and delicious.Season the meat mixture well with salt and pepper. You can coat the meatballs without using flour or egg.If you wipe out the container you used to mix the ground meat before adding breadcrumbs to it to coat the meatballs, you can reduce the number of things to wash up. For about 30 meatballs. Recipe by Nanohana uchan cookpad.japan
