3 Tbspbacon grease
1 Tbspbutter
5medium yellow squash (sliced thin)
1medium sweet onion sliced
1 tspsugar
1/2 tsppepper

In cast iron skillet, heat bacon grease and butter. Add squash and onion.

Sprinkle sugar over squash and onion. Cook over medium/low heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add salt and pepper.
