Steps

Marinate the fish with salt and turmeric powder

Heat oil and fry the fish well from both sides and keep aside

Heat oil and temper cumin seed bay leaf and red chilli

Saute onion slices well

Add ginger garlic paste and saute well adding salt and turmeric powder

Add cumin powder and red chilli Powder and mix well

Add tomato chopped and saute till oil separates

Pour water and boil

Add fish and simmer

Finally add little sugar and garam masala powder

Serve it with plain rice
